The Wish Museum

The Wish Museum was created in an abandoned ice cream shop at 117th and Lorain Ave, across  from the historic Variety Theater in the Westown Neighborhood.

The Wish Museum was created by three teaching artists and seven teens in our Summer Mural Institute. They were assigned the task of transforming the ice cream stand into a transformative space, with all materials repurposed from an upcycle  program which recycles design materials.  A quilt was created for the ceiling out of fabrics from design books, and recycled paper, and donated paints.
